High Maintenance Coats:
~ Dogs who require daily brushing and frequent hair cuts are asked to come in every 6-8 weeks to ensure the overall health and condition of your pets skin and coat.
~ Dogs kept with 1” or more of coat are recommended to come in every 4-6 weeks to ensure no matting or discomfort is occurring underneath all that fluff!
~ If at-home maintenance is difficult, a grooming schedule can be determined with your groomer.
Natural & Double Coated Breeds:
~ Even though your pup may not need an all over trim, it is still crucial that they come for a professional groom every 8-10 weeks to keep undercoat in check, brush out any matts and tangles, and to take a peak at their skin.
~ I WILL NOT SHAVE DOUBLE COATED BREEDS for any reason unless to help in the treatment of serious and extensive skin issues (ie. Chronic hot spots).
~ These breeds need both layers of their coat to stay happy, healthy and regulate their internal temperature.
Wire Coated Breeds:
~ Most wire coated pets are kept in a clipped trim for easy maintenance and are recommended to come in every 6-8 weeks for a full groom.
~ If you decide to get your pet hand stripped, a schedule can be made to accommodate you. Generally I recommend waiting no longer then 10 weeks between stripping sessions.
Late, No Show and Cancellation Fees:
~ If 24 hours notice is not given to cancel your appointment for non-emergent situations, a $25 fee will be added to your file, and must be paid at the following appointment.
~ If you are 15 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled, and a $25 fee will be applied to your bill.
~ Repeat offenders may not be accommodated for further appointments.
